First Drink of Cow's Milk

Maya tried cow's milk for the first time today! I poured about half a sippy cup full of whole milk and handed it over to her. She grabbed the cup, put the straw in her mouth, and took one little sip. To my surprise, she promptly sat the cup back onto the table, looked up at me, and SHOOK HER HEAD "NO"!! What could I do but laugh?? It was so stinkin' cute! Then, my second thought was, "Oh, crap. What if she doesn't like cow's milk?!" By the time she was done with lunch, she had sucked down the rest of the milk. No more yucky faces. No more shaking her head "no". YAY!! Success! She'll drink cow's milk, and that's WAY cheaper than formula!!!
